We've had a busy year since winning a silver at last years San Francisco World Spirits competition for our original gin. We are extremely chuffed to have won another Silver and a Gold in the 2016 competition.
This series of 'An Island Parish' was filmed in Unst last summer. In this weeks episode, you can find out more about the distillery and how our two gin botanicals are harvested from our natural surroundings.
Marc is our graduate distiller who studied for his degree at Heriot-Watt University and wrote his undergraduate thesis on gin. He's already helped to mastermind our limited edition cask-aged Up Helly Aa Gin and has plenty more ideas in the pipeline.

The first Unst Winter Festival takes place this weekend from the 11th - 13th December. We'll be taking part in the program with our 'Tipple and Taste' session at the Saxa Vord Distillery from 12-2:30pm on Saturday 12th.
Our new blended malt whisky has been launched and is now available from our online shop. With notes of sweet dried fruits, spices, wood and windswept with peat, you can almost taste all the elements of the special island where it originates.
