Distillery News

The distillery has been a buzz with activity over the last month. We have two extra pairs of hands helping - Christophe and Garrie - who are speeding up the bottling process. We've also had another UnstFest fly by with Saxa Vord hosting a food and drink fayre featuring Teves making delicious Shetland Reel cocktails. Restuarant chef Kieran was also on stage keeping the crowd happy with a Shetland Reel Salmon dish. Thanks to all those who came along!

Also a big congratulation to Distillery Manager Mark Turnbull who welcomed his first daughter Elsi into the world last week joining son Alvi at home on Unst. Luke who works on production is also expecting his second child this summer. We're starting to think there is something in the gin!

2 - 3 Unst Viking Festival, Shetland

The festival will see the Walhalla Vikings return to Shetland from Poland, joined by the Northern Irish Ardglass Vikings from the ‘Vikings’ TV series. There will be crafts, combat, story telling, food and more! Full details here.
