Shetland Wool Week 2022

Shetland Wool Week

Shetland Wool Week has returned for its 13th year; three years since the last in-person event in 2019.

A world renowned celebration, Shetland Wool Week attracts visitors from across the globe to celebrate Britain's most northerly native sheep, the Shetland textile industry and the rural farming communities here in Shetland.

Lots of events, classes and workshops are planned across Shetland, kicking off on Saturday 24th September running through until 2nd October.

Meet The Shetland Reel Team at Wool Week

Love wool and gin? You’re in luck. Our team will be attending the Taste of Shetland Wool Week Food and Drink Market at Mareel on 2nd October 11am - 3pm. We’ll be showcasing our award winning gins alongside some specials to mark Wool Week 2022.

If you fancy venturing further afield, our distillery doors will be open to welcome you. Why not join us in Unst for a distillery tour where you’ll learn about how we make our gin as well as sampling some of our favourites. Tours run at 12 noon Monday - Saturday and can be booked through the booking link on our website. Not got time for a tour? Our distillery shop is open between 10am - 4pm - so pop in and say hi!
