Blended from a small number of carefully selected casks from the Highlands of Scotland and inspired by our distillery's unique location, we introduce to you our newest blended malt whisky.
Unlike our previous releases, this special edition is bottled at 40%. Each of the malt whiskies used in this edition are at least 5 or 6 years old.
The fresh sherry and bourbon cask each have influenced this whisky, with caramel, buttery notes and dried fruits coming through, none of which dominate the flavour.
One the nose, this batch has notes of boiled fruit sweets, think pineapple cubes. The palate also has flavours of toffee, fruit sweets and black pepper, leading to a "long, sweet finish with some pepper."
